Yoga + Sound Healing on the beach
Introducing a new experience Summer 2026!
Join us on the beach for yoga and sound meditation with two members of the Spa Manzanita team, Bailey (Licensed Massage Therapist) and Julie (Sound Healing + Restorative Wellness)
- Wear comfortable clothing
- Bring a towel to separate you from the sand and a water bottle
- Manzanita is known to be windy, so wear glasses to keep the sand out!
Join Just B Bodywork and Align Wellness for a yoga and sound healing experience on the Manzanita Beach.
This will be a series of classes from June – August, focused around the gunas, seen as the fundamentals of nature. Join us for 1, 2, or all 3 sessions this summe.

The Classes
The Gunas – “strand” or “fiber” – these three strands are woven together, making up the foundation of the universe.
- June 27th – Sattva; the spark of an idea, forward movement, harmony, balance, energy. Expect wide stances, balancing poses, and transition focus.
- July 11th – Rajas; change, creativity, the will to overcome obstacles, leading us to action. We will be starting smaller and building in this class.
- Aug 15th – Tamas; Resistance, rest and recovery. In the August sun, we will focus on reflection
About Bailey and Just B Bodywork
Bailey is a yoga guide and massage therapist (LMT #28882) at Spa Manzanita and in Portland. Her studies and classes are steeped in ayurvedic teachings and Hatha Yoga, designed for every level of yogi. They prioritize the journey into and dedicate time to the feeling of each pose in order to prepare for deep meditation.
In her massage sessions, she blends structural movement with the subtle rhythms of Craniosacral therapy and Ayurvedic wisdom to help you find balance.

At The Studio House, Julie weaves together Reiki, therapeutic sound, breathwork, yoga, and vibrational energy work into sessions that meet each guest exactly where they are.
